2005 Legislation Affecting Members of the Public School Employees Retirement System

Effective July 1, 2005, the benefit formula multiplier for current and future retirees will increase from $13.00 to $13.50 per month for each year of service.  The General Assembly provided for this increase in the general appropriations act and the Governor has signed the bill.
